Our Mission

Declaration Church is a place where the life-giving presence of Jesus compels, heals, changes, and moves people to love God passionately and to lead others to do the same.

Our Vision

We are ministers on Mission, declaring the greatness of God, loving Him fully, and helping people encounter Jesus everyday.

We are Postured by Prayer.
…devoted to prayer.
We are a ‘house of prayer.’

We are Transformed by Truth:
…Devoted to the teaching of Scriptures.

We believe that when the Holy Spirit empowers the teaching of the scriptures,
people are transformed by truth.

We are Real in Relationship.
Devoted to authentic fellowship/community.

We are a church of friendship and community. We believe when the Holy Spirit is at the heart of it all, unity is a byproduct. God delights in unity.

We allow people to Grow in Grace.
…committed to loving people like Jesus loves people.

We are a safe place to struggle. No one is perfect, but we are on a journey of understanding our God given identity and purpose. The riches of God are lavished upon us at the expense of Jesus. This calls us to a deep gratitude that should overflow into how we live.

We are Driven by Discipleship.
…committed to Making & growing strong disciples/leaders, who make and grow strong disciples/ leaders.

We will replicate and resource for His glory, His kingdom, and the sake of others! We will be a church of life groups that are small discipleship movements.

We are Generous in Giving

…committed to giving back to God in every aspect of our lives.

We declare the greatness of God, and our gratitude to God, by being generous disciples who are devoted to making a difference by how we use our time, talents, and what we do with the finances God entrusts to us.  We give of our lives to declare His mighty works!

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves  a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7  We believe this is not just about finances.

We are Ministers on Mission.

…committed to the great commission.

Heart for God/Heart for people

We are moved to mission out of a heart of worship.  We love Jesus.  Jesus loves people.  Jesus gave His life for people.  We have the privilege of reflecting and imitating Jesus, while joining him on co-mission.  If we love Him, we obey Him.  We are ministers on mission, because He calls us to ‘as we go’ be His eyes, His hands, His heart.

Acts 1:8 roadmap: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth
